TF Gaming esports betting is a set of esports markets from the provider TF Gaming (Thunderfire). This guide covers the games it lists, how winner, handicap and in-play markets are settled, when bets are void and how League of Legends draft bets work.

TF Gaming esports betting rules
When bets are cancelled or refunded
- Start dates and times shown for an esports match are indicative only and may be wrong. Wagers are cancelled if they were offered at an incorrect date or time.
- If a player or team gets a walkover on at least one map before the official start of the match, the wagers are cancelled and void.
- If a match is waiting for official results, or has no official announcement, within 24 hours of its scheduled start time, the outstanding wagers are cancelled and refunded.
- If the number of maps changes or differs from the number offered for betting, winner and handicap wagers are void and refunded.
Map advantages and results
When a team receives a map advantage under the tournament’s format and rules, that team counts as the winner of the map for settlement. Players are responsible for checking the state of the game before they place a bet.
The “Game result” page shows the results of the last 72 hours. For results older than 72 hours, ask the platform for help.
Market types and how they are settled
- Winner markets: the winner of the event or of a map, settled on the official scoreboard, the game API or the broadcast.
- Handicap markets: settled on the official scoreboard, the game API or the broadcast. They can cover the number of maps, rounds, kill score and more.
- In-play markets: based on a 0-0 start state and concluded at the end of the event, whatever the score was when the wager was placed.
If a winner market ends in a draw as the final and conclusive result (for example after overtime), all outstanding wagers on that winner market are refunded.
How League of Legends draft betting works
Where League of Legends results come from
For League of Legends, settlement is based on the results in the post-match statistics panel shown after the game. If there is no panel, the result is settled from the official website, the API or the official live broadcast. The layout and information of the panel can differ by region.
What you bet on in a draft
League of Legends draft simulates the blind ban draft used in tournaments and ranked mode. You predict which champions will be picked for BAN, TOP, JUNGLE, MID, BOT and SUPPORT.
Each game has 6 rounds. The BAN round comes first, and 10 champions are banned from the pool for the next 5 rounds. The pick rounds are TOP, JUNGLE, MID, BOTTOM and SUPPORT, and 1 champion is picked in each position.
How to place a draft bet
- Make sure your wallet has enough balance.
- Place your bet before the countdown timer ends.
- Click a chip for the amount you want. The amount must stay within the MIN – MAX bet and cannot be more than your wallet balance.
- Click one champion, or a group of champions, on the betting board. The BET TYPE panel explains the bet types.
- On your BETSLIP, click PLACE BET. Tick the Auto confirm checkbox to place the bet automatically when the timer ends.
- When betting time ends for the BAN round, ten (10) champions are selected. When it ends for each pick round (TOP, JUNGLE, MID, BOT, SUPPORT), one (1) champion is selected.
- A bet that covers the winning champion or champions is a winning bet.
There are two types of bet: Single Champion, placed on one champion, and Up / Down or Left / Right, placed on a group of champions.
The betting screen buttons
A. Countdown timer
Shows the status of the round. You can bet while the timer runs, and betting stops when it reaches 0.
B. Wallet
Your current wallet balance. It must cover the bets you want to place.
C. Bet history button
Lists your most recent settled bets by date. Click a row to open the game details for that game.
D. Auto confirm checkbox
When ticked, your pending bets are confirmed automatically once the countdown timer ends.
E. Place bet button
Confirms your pending bets. Confirmed bets are valid and cannot be changed or cancelled.
F. Min-max bet
The minimum and maximum bet limits for each payout type. The limits depend on the bet area you hover over. The payout types are listed in the payout table below.
G. Double (x2) button
Doubles the pending bet amount, up to the maximum bet.
H. Half (1/2) button
Halves the current bet amount, down to the minimum bet.
I. Chip selection
Each chip shows a bet amount. Click a chip first, then click the champion or box you want to bet on.
J. Undo button
Reverses the last action you made while placing bets.
K. Repeat button
Copies your bets from the previous game round.
Bet types
Single champion bet
- Place your bet directly on one champion.
- The board lists every available champion, and the number changes as new champions are added.
- You cannot bet on a champion that is already banned.
- The payout multiplier is shown in the round title, for example “Banning” or “Choose your Champion”.
Up / Down and Left / Right bets
- Not available in the BAN round.
- Only available in the pick rounds: TOP, JUNGLE, MID, BOT and SUPPORT.
Up / Down
- Up: champions in the upper half of the selection.
- Down: champions in the lower half of the selection.
Left / Right
- Left: champions on the left side of the selection.
- Right: champions on the right side of the selection.
The payout multiplier is shown in the box and depends on how many champions the bet covers.
Payout
The payout table lists the payout range for each inside bet type: single champion, up / down and left / right. Ranges can change, so check the table on the platform you use.
Stats and chart
Click or tap the icon to switch on the chart at the side of the screen. It shows the results of past rounds.
