Pussy888’s African Wildlife is a five-reel, three-row slot with 50 paylines, a giraffe wild symbol and a bonus game that starts when three or more Bonus symbols land. This review goes through the game screens shown below: how the paylines work, what each symbol pays, and how the wild and bonus game behave.
Gameplay and paylines
You spin the reels and try to land matching symbols on an active payline. The screens show 50 lines active. Wins start from the leftmost reel and pay left to right on adjacent reels. All prizes are multiplied by the line bet, and only the highest win is paid on each payline.
Use the minus and plus buttons beside the Lines button to change the total bet. The screens show a total bet of 100, so check the bet range in the game before you play.
Symbols and pay table
The animal symbols pay the most. The pay table screen shows the lion as the top symbol, followed by the elephant, the rhino, the zebra and the ostrich. The lower symbols are a backpack, binoculars, a compass, a flask and a safari hat. There are no card symbols such as Ace or King.
The table below copies the pay table screen: the number of coins for 5, 4, 3 or 2 matching symbols, before the line bet multiplier.
| Symbol | 5 symbols | 4 symbols | 3 symbols | 2 symbols |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lion | 2000 | 500 | 100 | 5 |
| Elephant | 1500 | 300 | 75 | 4 |
| Rhino | 800 | 200 | 50 | 3 |
| Zebra | 500 | 100 | 20 | 2 |
| Ostrich | 400 | 60 | 12 | 1 |
| Backpack | 300 | 50 | 10 | none |
| Binoculars | 200 | 40 | 8 | none |
| Compass | 150 | 30 | 7 | none |
| Flask | 100 | 25 | 6 | none |
| Safari hat | 75 | 20 | 5 | none |
Wild and Bonus symbols
The wild symbol is the giraffe. It substitutes for all symbols except the Bonus symbol, which is the safari photographer.
Three or more Bonus symbols win the bonus game feature. In the bonus game you choose trees on a savanna map to win the prize for the symbol you get. One symbol wins the Pass Crossing prize. A Times counter on screen goes down by 1 when you get a camera symbol, and the feature ends when it reaches 0.
Look and feel
The reels sit on a cartoon savanna background with trees at both sides, and the animal symbols are drawn in round frames. The pay table also shows hippo and crocodile artwork in the background.
